Creating Service Plans
Step 1: Access Service Plans
Navigate to service plan creation:
- Open FieldAx app
- Go to Service Plans tab
- Click New button
- The Service Plan form opens
Step 2: Basic Plan Information
Enter essential plan details:
Plan Identification
- Service Plan No: SP-000000 (auto-generated)
- Type: Service/Maintenance
- Status: Active
- Customer: Select from lookup (e.g., Acme Corporation)
The system automatically assigns a unique service plan number for tracking and reference.
Step 3: Service Engineer Assignment
Assign responsible technician:
Engineer Details
- Service Engineer: Click lookup icon
- Select engineer (e.g., Edward VIII)
- This assigns primary responsibility
- Can be changed per generated job

Step 4: Location Configuration
Set service location details:
Location Information
- Location: Enter service address
- Site Specific Instructions: Add any special notes
- Gate codes
- Parking instructions

Site Contact
- Link specific site contact if different from primary
- Include phone numbers
- Note best contact times
Step 5: Date Configuration
Set plan duration and job dates:
Plan Duration
- Start Date: 02/09/2024
- End Date: 01/09/2025
- Duration: 12 months (typical)
Job Scheduling Dates
- Final Job Date: System calculates based on frequency
- These dates control when service jobs are generated
Step 6: Scheduling Information
Configure service frequency:

- Frequency: Select from dropdown
- Weekly
- Bi-Weekly
- Monthly
- Quarterly
- Semi-Annually
- Annually
- Custom
For this example: Semi-Annually (twice per year)
Days Configuration
- Select preferred service days
- System uses these for job scheduling
- Helps with route optimization
Step 7: Parts and Pricing Setup
