Consuming Parts Process #

During Service

1. From job screen, tap Consume Parts.
2. Select/scan used items.
3. Enter quantities.
4. Confirm the consumption.

FIFO Inventory Consumption

• Inventory records are displayed in First In, First Out (FIFO)
• The oldest available inventory is displayed first.
• When consuming parts, the system prioritizes the oldest available inventory before newer stock.
• This helps maintain proper inventory rotation and reduces stock aging.

Inventory Validation & Refresh

• Available inventory quantity is automatically refreshed after each successful consumption.
• The latest available quantity is displayed before consuming additional parts.
• Users cannot consume more than the available in-hand quantity.
• The system validates the available quantity before processing the consumption.
• If the requested quantity exceeds the available stock, a validation message is displayed.
