Overview #
The Inventory Console provides a centralized view of inventory across all locations. It enables users to monitor inventory health, manage product requests and transfers, track shipments, view inventory across multiple locations, and perform cycle count activities from a single workspace.
Accessing the Inventory Console #
- Launch FieldAx from the App Launcher.
- Navigate to the Inventory Console tab.
- The Inventory Console dashboard displays inventory metrics, requests, transfers, shipments, and inventory management tools.
Inventory Health Metrics #
The Inventory Health Metrics section provides a high-level overview of inventory performance across locations. These metrics help inventory managers identify shortages and take corrective actions.
Total Aging Risk #
Displays the total value of inventory that has remained unused for more than 180 days, helping identify slow-moving or obsolete stock.
Overstock Items #
Displays products whose on-hand quantity exceeds the configured maximum stock level, helping users identify excess inventory and maintain optimal stock levels.
Pending Product Requests #
Displays all submitted product requests that are awaiting fulfillment, providing visibility into outstanding inventory demands.
Freights Pending Shipment #
Displays freight transfers that have not yet been shipped, helping users track pending logistics activities and inventory movement.
Inventory Accuracy Rate #
Displays the accuracy of inventory records based on completed cycle counts, providing insight into inventory reliability and highlighting discrepancies between physical and system inventory.
Stock Overview #
The Stock Overview tab provides visibility into inventory across all configured locations. Users can filter inventory by Product Family, Inventory Days, and Stock Status (In Stock, Low Stock, and Out of Stock).
In addition to viewing inventory levels, users can perform the following actions directly from the Stock Overview page:
- Adjust Stock
- Replenish Stock
- Quick Transfer
Adjust Stock #
Step 1: Open Stock Overview
- Navigate to the Inventory Console.
- Open the Stock Overview
Step 2: Select the Location
- Select the desired inventory location
Step 3: Select Products
- Select the checkbox for the product(s) you want to adjust.
Step 4: Select the Action
- Click Adjust Stock Button.
Step 5: Configure the Stock Adjustment
- Select an Adjustment Type.
- Enter the adjustment quantity.
- Provide a reason for the adjustment.
Step 6: Add Additional Product
- Click Add Product to include additional products in the adjustment.
- Click the Delete icon to remove a product from the adjustment list.
Step 7: Submit the Adjustment
- Click Submit All Adjustments to complete the stock adjustment.
Replenishing Stock #
Step 1: Open Stock Overview
- Navigate to the Inventory Console.
- Open the Stock Overview
Step 2: Select the Location
- Select the desired inventory location
Step 3: Select Products
- Select the checkbox for the product(s) you want to adjust.
Step 4: Select the Action
- Click Replenish Stock Button.
Step 5: Configure the Replenishment Details
- Enter the replenishment quantity.
- Select the appropriate Zone.
- Select a Storage Section.
- Select a Bin
Step 6: Add Additional Product
- Click Add Product to include additional products in the Replenish Stock.
- Click the Delete icon to remove a product from the Replenish Stock.
Step 7: Submit the Replenishment
- Click Submit Replenishment to update inventory.
Quick Transfer #
Step 1: Open Stock Overview
- Navigate to the Inventory Console.
- Open the Stock Overview
Step 2: Select the Location
- Select the desired inventory location
Step 3: Select Products
- Select the checkbox for the product(s) you want to Transfer.
Step 4: Enter Product Quantity
- Enter the transfer quantity.
Step 5: Manage Products
If additional products are required, you can:
Step 5.1: Search and add products to the transfer.
Step 5.2: Update product quantities.
Step 5.3: You can also Remove products by clicking delete Icon.
Review the product Transfer list to ensure all required Products and quantities are correct.
Step 6: Direct Transfer
Use this option when inventory should be transferred immediately without shipment tracking.
Step 6.1: Clear the Use Shipment/Freight checkbox.
Step 6.2: Review the transfer details and product quantities.
Step 6.3: Click Transfer to create the transfer request.
Step 7: Freight Transfer
Use this option when inventory is being shipped through a freight or courier service and requires tracking.
Step 7.1: Select the Use Shipment/Freight checkbox.
Step 7.2: Click Create New Freight.
Step 7.3: Enter the Tracking Number.
Step 7.4: Enter the Tracking URL (optional, if applicable).
Step 7.5: Review the transfer details and product quantities.
Step 7.6: Click Transfer to create the transfer request.
Product Requests #
The Product Request tab provides centralized visibility into inventory request and transfer activities.
Users can:
- Review pending requests
- Initiate inventory transfers
- Monitor transfer status
- Track inventory movement between locations
Requests can be filtered using the available request statuses, including Submitted and Open.
Step 1: Open Product Requests
- Navigate to the Product Request tab within the Inventory Console.
Step 2: Select the Location
- Select the desired inventory location
Step 3: Select the Actions
- Locate the request record and click Actions
Step 4: Initiate a Transfer
- Select Transfer.
Step 5: Direct Transfer
Use this option when inventory should be transferred immediately without shipment tracking.
Step 5.1: Clear the Use Shipment/Freight checkbox.
Step 5.2: Review the transfer details and product quantities.
Step 5.3: Click Transfer to create the transfer request.
Step 6: Freight Transfer
Use this option when inventory is being shipped through a freight or courier service and requires tracking.
Step 6.1: Select the Use Shipment/Freight checkbox.
Step 6.2: Click Create New Freight.
Step 6.3: Enter the Tracking Number.
Step 6.4: Enter the Tracking URL (optional, if applicable).
Step 6.5: Review the transfer details and product quantities.
Step 6.6: Click Transfer to create the transfer request.
Step 7: Navigate to Record
- Locate the request record and click Actions dropdown
Step 8: Select the Action
- Click View Details.
- Now you will be Redirect to Product Request Record.
Product Transfers #
#
Freight Shipments – Tab #
The Freight Shipments tab provides visibility into inventory shipments and transfer activities.
Users can:
- View active shipments
- Monitor shipment status
- Track freight information
- Review transfer history
Available filters include:
- Status
- Direction
- Time Period (Week, Month, Year)
Step 1: Open Product Transfers
- Navigate to the Product Transfer
Step 2: Select the Location
- Select the desired inventory location
Step 3: Tracking Freight Shipments
Step 3.1: Open the Freight Shipments tab.
Step 3.2: Select a shipment record to view its status and details.
Step 3.3: Use the Actions dropdown and select View Details to open the freight record.
Step 4: Shipping Freight Shipments
- Click Ship All Button to send the Freight.
Managing Direct Transfers – Tab #
The Direct Transfers tab provides visibility into inventory shipments and transfer activities.
Users can:
- View active shipments
- Monitor shipment status
- Track freight information
- Review transfer history
Available filters include:
- Status
- Direction
- Time Period (Week, Month, Year)
Step 1: Open Product Transfers
- Navigate to the Product Transfer
Step 2: Select the Location
- Select the desired inventory location
Step 3: Direct Transfers
- Open the Direct Transfer
Step 4: Navigate to Record
- Use the Actions dropdown and select View Details to navigate the freight record.
Step 5: Receiving the Direct Transfers
- Use the Actions dropdown and select Confirm Receipt to receive transferred inventory.
Step 6: Confirm Received Quantity
- Enter the quantity of parts received.
Step 7: Add Notes
- Enter any notes or comments, if required.
Step 8: Complete Receipt
- Click Confirm Receipt.
Cycle Count Campaigns #
Cycle Count Campaigns help maintain inventory accuracy through scheduled inventory verification activities.
Users can:
- Create cycle count campaigns
- Assign inventory locations for counting
- Record physical inventory counts
- Identify inventory variances
- Review count results
Step 1: Open Cycle Count
- Navigate to the Cycle Count tab within the Inventory Console.
Step 2: Select the Location
- Select the desired inventory location
Step 3: Create a Campaign
- Click Create New Campaign Button.
Step 4: Enter the Details
- Verify the campaign name and location and enter a description, if required.
- Click Create Campaign
Step 5: Perform Inventory Counting
- Locate the newly created campaign.
Step 6: Start Counting
- Open the Actions menu and select Start Counting.
- Enter the physical count for the displayed product.
- Add notes, if required.
- Click Submit & Next to proceed to the next item.
- Continue until all products have been counted.
Step 7: Complete the Campaign
- Review the entered counts.
- Click Submit & Complete to finalize the cycle count campaign.
The system records any inventory variances and updates the campaign status accordingly.
