The Advanced Inventory Console provides a centralized workspace to manage inventory, product requests, and freight operations across all locations in real time.
Access the Advanced Inventory Console #
Step 1 — Open FieldAx #
Launch the FieldAx app from the App Launcher.
Step 2 — Navigate to “Advanced Inventory Console” #
Select Advanced Inventory Console from the navigation menu.
Step 3 — View the Default Inventory Tab #
The console opens in the Inventory tab by default.
Step 4 — Review Summary Counts #
At the top of the page, you will see:
- Available
- Reserved
- Out-of-Stock
These update automatically based on inventory activity.
Manage Inventory #
Step 1 — Select a Location #
Use the Location Dropdown to choose the location you want to manage.
Step 2 — Search or Filter Inventory #
Refine the list by product name, serial number, or filters (Available / Reserved / Out of Stock).
Step 3 — View Inventory Details #
You can see:
- Product name
- Serial numbers (if applicable)
- Total quantity
- Available quantity
- Reserved quantity
Step 4 — Add Inventory #
Click Add Inventory to increase stock levels for the selected location.
A. View Product Information #
View Product Information
When you click the Eye icon on any inventory item:

- A Product Information panel opens.
- You can view:
- The product details
- All locations where this product is available
- The available and reserved quantities per location
Create Product Request from Product Information
Inside the Product Information panel:
- Click Request Stock.
- The Request Stock popup will open.
- Enter the following details:
- Source Location
- Destination Location
- Expected Date
- Quantity
- Click Create Request.
- A Product Request record is created instantly and sent to the appropriate location.
B. Adjust Stock #
Edit Stock Quantity
When you click the Edit icon on the inventory record:
- The Adjust Stock Quantity popup appears.
- Select the Adjustment Type:
- Add Stock
- Remove Stock
- Set Quantity
- Enter the Quantity you want to adjust.
- Enter a valid Reason for Adjustment (mandatory).
- Click Confirm Adjustment.
- The system will update the inventory quantity and log the transaction.
C. Transfer Inventory #
Step 1 — Select Inventory and Click “Transfer Inventory icon”
Choose the inventory you want to move and open the Inventory Transfer panel.
Step 2 — Review Item Details
Check:
- Available quantity
- Serial number list (if serialized)
Step 3 — Choose Destination Location
Select the location where the inventory should be transferred.
Step 4 — Enter Transfer Quantity
Provide the number of units to transfer.
Step 5 — Complete the Transfer
The system will transfer the stock based on item type:
- Non-Serialized: Can be transferred in any quantity.
- Serialized: Must select individual serials; each serial can be moved only once per transfer.
Step 6 — Click “Transfer inventory” Button
D. View Inventory Transaction History #
Step — Open Transaction History
When you click the Timer icon on the inventory row:
- The Inventory Transaction History page opens.
- This page shows a detailed list of:
- When the inventory was adjusted
- Adjustment type
- Quantity changed
- Who performed the action
- Related transaction references
This helps track all historical stock movements for accuracy and audit purposes.
Track Product Requests & Freights #
Step 1 — Open the Product Requests Tab #
Navigate to the Product Requests tab to view all:
- Incoming Requests
- Outgoing Requests
- Pending Actions
The console shows a real-time list of all product request activities across locations.
Step 2 — Review Request Details #
Each request displays key information, including:
- Request ID
- Requested By
- Requested Items
To view the complete request record, click the View Details button.
This opens the full Product Request page, where you can check quantities, status, related freights, and action history.
Step 3 — Navigate to the Freights Tab #
Open the Freights tab to view all freight movements related to the selected location.
You will see two categories:
- Incoming Freight — freight arriving at the location
- Outgoing Freight — freight being shipped from the location
This provides a real-time overview of all active freight transactions.
Step 4 — Open Freight Details #
Click any freight row to view its detailed information.
The freight detail panel displays:
- Freight ID
- Route
- Tracking Information (Created, Shipped, In Transit, Delivered, etc.)
If you click the View Details button for any freight, you will be navigated to the full Freight Record Page for complete transaction history and related items.
