Example: Mid-Month Region Change
Below is an example based on a real scenario from the release workflow:
Scenario
A service engineer is originally assigned to Region A for the entire month of September.
Required Mid-Month Update
The engineer needs to work in Region B for two days in the middle of the month.
How the Region Planner Handles It
- 1st–14th → Region A
- 15th–16th → Region B (new dates selected in the planner)
- 17th–30th → Region A (Planner automatically resumes original region)
System Automation
- It creates new region membership records for the selected days.
- No manual adjustments or record editing is needed.
