The Signature & Feedback process in FieldAx ensures proper completion, verification, and customer acknowledgment of the job. Follow the steps below after finishing all service tasks.
Step 1: Complete All Job Activities #
Before signatures can begin, the service engineer must complete:
- All assigned checklist steps
- Parts or product usage entries (if applicable)
- Job notes and service details
Once everything is finished, proceed to job completion.
Step 2: Open the “Complete” Button #
- On the Job record page, go to the top-right corner.
- Click the dropdown arrow (▼) next to Add Item(s).
This opens the job complete button.

Step 3: Select “Complete” #
- From the dropdown list, click Complete.
- The system now begins the Signature & Feedback flow.
Step 4: Engineer Signature #
- The Engineer Signature screen appears first.
- The engineer reviews the service details.
- The engineer signs in the signature box.
- Tap Submit / Confirm.
Note: Customer cannot sign until the engineer’s signature is completed.
Step 5: Customer Signature #
- Once the engineer signs, the Customer Signature screen appears.
- The customer reviews the service report.
- The customer signs in the signature area.
- Tap Submit to confirm.
Step 6: Provide Feedback #
- Tap Proceed to Feedback.
- The customer can provide a rating:
- Excellent
- Good
- Average
- Unsatisfactory
- Or choose Skip Feedback
- Customer can also add written comments.
- Tap Submit Feedback.
Final Step: Job Completion #
- The job status is updated to Completed.
- All signatures and feedback are stored in the system.
- A Service Report PDF with signatures is generated automatically and can be downloaded anytime.
