Simplified Inventory Transfer

The Simplified Inventory Transfer feature allows users to transfer stock directly from an Inventory record without creating a Product Request. This makes the process faster and more efficient.

Open the Inventory Record #

• Step 1 — Go to the Inventory Tab
  • Navigate to Inventory from the FieldAx App.

 

• Step 2 — Search Inventory
  • Enter the product name to locate the inventory.

 

• Step 3 — Open the Inventory Record
  • Click on the specific record to view its details such as:
    • Available Quantity
    • Item Type (Serialized / Non-Serialized)
    • Source Location

Start the Transfer #

• Step 1 — Click the “Transfer” Button
  • Inside the inventory record, select Transfer.

 

• Step 2 — Review Transfer Panel Details
  • The transfer panel displays:
    • Source Location
    • Current Stock
    • Serial Number (if applicable)

 

Enter Transfer Details #

• Step 1 — Select Freight Record     
  • Choose the freight option associated with this transfer.

 

• Step 2 — Choose Destination Location
  • Pick the location where the item needs to be transferred.

 

• Step 3 — Enter Quantity
  • Specify the number of units to transfer.

 

• Step 4 — Apply Serialized or Non-Serialized Rules
  • For Non-Serialized Items:
    Any amount can be transferred.
  • For Serialized Items:
    You must select serial numbers individually.
    Each Serialized inventory can only be transferred to one location at a time.

 

• Step 5 — Confirm Inputs
  • Verify that:
    • Freight
    • Quantity
    • Destination Location

 

Complete the Transfer #

• Step 1 — Review Transfer Summary
  • Check all information displayed on the panel.

 

• Step 2 — Click “Transfer Inventory”
  • The system processes the movement.
