Overview #
The Skills View is a new enhancement to the Dispatch Board that helps dispatchers instantly understand each technician’s capabilities before assigning a job. With this upgrade, dispatchers can view skills, certifications, proficiency levels, availability, and job-skill compatibility all from a single screen.
Prerequisites #
Before using the Skills View, ensure the following are configured:
Skill Setup #
- Configured the required skills in the Job Type
- Set up and assigned skills to each Service Engineer
How to Access the Skills View #

Step 1 — Open the App Launcher #
- Click the App Launcher in the top-left corner of Salesforce.
- Search for “FieldAX”.

Step 2 — Open the FieldAX Application #
- Select FieldAX from the search results.

Step 3 — Go to the Dispatch Board #
- In the FieldAX navigation bar, click Dispatch Board.

Step 4 — Select a Service Engineer #
- From the left-side panel (or from the dispatch timeline), click on any Service Engineer.
- A detailed side panel will open.

Step 5 — Access the Four Available Tabs #
- When a Service Engineer is selected, you will see four tabs:
- Profile
- Schedule
- Skills
- Related

Step 6 — Open the “Skills” Tab #
- Click the Skills tab.
- The Skills View window will open.
